Swarnprastha Public School Boarding House Students and Staff Celebrates Baisakhi at the Gurudwara!

We are delighted to share with you the wonderful experience our boarding house students had on their visit to the Gurudwara in celebration of Baisakhi!

Baisakhi, also known as Vaisakhi, holds great significance for the Sikh community. It marks the harvest festival and the foundation of the Khalsa Panth by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

The visit to the Gurudwara was not just an opportunity to celebrate this joyous occasion, but it also allowed our students to immerse themselves in the rich cultural and religious traditions of Sikhism. They had the privilege of witnessing the vibrant prayers, melodious hymns, and experiencing the warmth and hospitality of the Sikh community. 

Through this outing, our students were able to deepen their understanding of different faiths, promote intercultural dialogue, and nurture respect for diverse religious practices. It was indeed an invaluable learning experience! 

We are proud of our students for their curiosity, open-mindedness, and eagerness to learn about different cultures and religions. We firmly believe that such experiences contribute to their holistic development and help shape them into well-rounded global citizens.
