THE LIGHT OF EDUCATION LASTS A LIFETIME

Swarnprastha Public School is an initiative of the Indraprastha Education and Charitable Society. The name of the school is deeply rooted in ancient Indian history.

If one turns back the pages of history, one will find that present day Sonipat is the modern derivation of Swarnprastha, a city that finds its mention in the Mahabharata. Presently, this co-educational institution admits students from Nursery to Standard IX and XI. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.

The Campus is set amidst lush green fields where nature is at its very best. Both Boarding and Day Boarding facilities are offered to the students. Along with essential co-curricular activities special emphasis is laid on a student’s health, attitudinal orientations and career counselling and guidance. Our aim is to impart education not just from textbooks but from insights which life presents. Hence, our philosophy stands as:

The school motto ‘Learning to Learn’ depicts our perspective of life as a permanent learning process. The school believes that students will truly shine only if each and every one of these special individuals is given a due care and nurtured for what he or she is. The school features various sporting facilities. Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation and other recognized and acclaimed Indian exercise systems, besides regular sports have been incorporated to further synergize the relation between body and mind.
